New Vigor of Reddish Timbers

As the most traditional wood floor colour series, reddish timbers have their own enduring appeal. Although in recent years, many customers prefer more modern colours, such as greyish series and creamy series, reddish timbers have always maintained a certain market share. On one hand, customers from cultural backgrounds, such as South Asia and the Middle East, still prefer this colour. On another hand, new interior design concepts inject brand new vigour into reddish timber’s life.

When reddish timbers are presented individually, they bring us a feeling of luxury, retro and dignified. Based on this feeling, we have tree main genres to do interior design with reddish timbers, which are suppression, echo and conflict.

Suppression is to fill the walls and soft furnishings with white or light colours to the maximum, thereby brightening the overall look and feel, suppressing the heavy feeling brought by the red floor, and presenting a relatively modern design concept.

Echo is to use other decoration in the same colour range, such as door, window frames and furniture, etc., to respond to the flooring colour and maximize the overall retro feeling.

Conflict, in short, is color collision, such as the introduction of pure black, navy blue, leaf green, and metallic colors, and the combination of several strong colors, thus presenting a design sense that is different from the red color alone. The overall feeling after the design can be post-modern, Rococo style, Renaissance and oil painting style.

Of course, in order to make the home color more balanced and sophisticated, the latter two design concepts also introduce white and bright lights in a small area.
After browsing these different designs, you will find that, in fact, red wood floors will also have a very modern side with a sense of design.
